Below are Some of the things to experience during your holiday.
Arrive is usually a Sunday.. Check-in is from 2pm to 3pm. Departure around 1 pm.
See your parents safely off, after reassuring them that you have a bed and somewhere to wash and that you ARE going to miss them, but they can ring any time!
We will have a chat about what you want out of your holiday.
After a safety talk you will be shown how to groom and tack up ready to ride. There will be staff to help you if you are new to these tasks. You will have an assessment lesson with our qualified instructor, in order that you are best matched with your mount and get the best out of the holiday. You can have the same pony or ride several different mounts.
On Monday, in suitable groups you will have a session in the arena.
You will also go for a hack to see the surrounding countryside and get you ready for the trail ride.
Mid- week you will set out on the 2-day trail ride, when everyone is ready and prepared with packed lunches in their saddle bags, you set off one the first day. You will explore the superb landscape, through woodlands and over moors with experienced leaders.
When you arrive at camp you will enjoy some of the best scenery the area has.
Enjoy a BBQ whilst sitting watching your trusty steed who has worked hard for you that day graze and rest ready for the next day’s adventure. After around the campfire you can enjoy eating marshmallows whilst exchanging stories.
By the end of the trail ride, not only will you have explored some of Wales’s most undiscovered countryside, but you would also have experienced how to ride over some of Wales’s tricky terrain thanks to your sure-footed horse. Arrive back at the farm, to have an evening meal and relax
Activities on other days include, getting into teams to play an exciting and noisy game of horse ball, a session to try riding western, and a jumping lesson,as well as hacks out.
You will also work towards for a tack and turnout
The final morning is an opportunity to put everything you have learnt into practice. Making your horse look smart, groomed and plaited if you want. Then taking part in an equitation class to show how your skills have improved, working together to win yourself a rosette! Finishing with fun team gymkhana games.Parents can arrive from 11.30 am to watch, ready to take you home about 1 pm.

This unforgettable riding holiday will take you on horse back through unspoilt countryside, cantering over open moor land and fields and wild camping on the 2 day trail ride. It is the Ultimate riding experience!!

If you have any energy left, evening entertainment includes, table tennis, table football, going for a walk with some of our friendly dogs, or just relax and watch a film and chat to your new friends.
Fully inclusive and supervised riding holidays, for young people in the 10 to 19 age group.
This holiday is aimed at teenagers who can walk trot and canter happily, with lots of riding and horse involvement..
Riding groups are small ranging from 6 to 12 to ensure maximum enjoyment.Riding on 7 days.
Accommodation is in our comfortable bunkhouse. Days in the saddle exploring miles of scenic Welsh countryside as well as doing a range of other horsey activities including a 2 day trail ride with an overnight camp and taking part in a equitation class and fun games on the final morning.
Please note the trail ride requires riders to be able to canter in open countryside and cope with long hours in the saddle.

You will need to bring in a holdall please, rather than large suitcases.
- Riding clothes, (Hats and boots can be supplied if needed)
- Personal clothes, including something warm and waterproof, wellies are good for bathing ponies!
- Toiletries and towels.
- Sleeping bag if you have one, we have spares, and an overnight bag for the camping.
- We can wash clothes if needed, so no need to bring too much.
NB. Please leave jewellery and make up/ hair dye at home. We are strictly no smoking/vaping.We expect you to show kindness to others and follow staff instructions for your safety.
