Overlooking the beautiful Ceiriog Valley and out towards the Berwyn mountains on the North Wales Borders, an area totally unspoiled by modern life offering stunning views to enjoy in tranquil peace.
Nearest neighbour 1 mile, village of Glyn Ceiriog 2 1/2 miles. Pub, post office and village shop .Nearest towns, Oswestry, Chirk, 8 miles.
Set on a 130acre hill farm, Springhill bunkhouse is self-catering, suitable for families,friends,corporate meetings/activity groups and clubs for weekends or longer. Sole use or shared use welcome.
Ideal for walking, cycling, relaxing with friends, team management, horse riding on site, own horse welcome.

Ground Floor.
From the parking area, follow a slab pathway to enter through a brown door into a large tiled entrance area with room for outdoor clothes, recycling, drying room with washing machine. Shower room. Bedroom 6 is located here.

Up a step into the large dining area, off which is the modern kitchen, fully equipped, with range gas cooker, large American fridge/freezer, dishwasher. Washing up liquid tea towels, loo paper etc supplied.
There are several small steps on the tiled ground floor, both floors have underfloor heating.
Through into the hallway leading to the stairs and separate sitting room, with a television.

Sleeping up to 25 people in 6 different carpeted bedrooms ranging from single occupancy to sleeping 8, including an en-suite family room, with double, 2 singles and bunks . Upstairs there is 1 bathroom, 3 shower rooms.Beds are made ready, please bring towels.

Facilities available include patio, covered seating area, lawn area, charcoal BBQ, outdoor chess, table tennis, activities including on site horse riding, and great off road walking, all to help you relax and enjoy yourselves. Within 10 miles there is fishing, water based activities, paint balling, golf ,canal boating, steam trains and National Trust properties at Chirk, Wrexham and Powys castle.

Whether you are seeking an activity holiday, or just want to relax, come along and stay in what must be one of the most peaceful spots our Welsh countryside has to offer..

Arrival from 4pm and departure by 12 noon unless otherwise arranged.

At weekends we require a minimum booking of 2 nights with a minimum charge of £800 for sole use of the bunkhouse,this is based on 16 people, charge per head over this. Please email for price.

We accept debit cards, bank transfer, cash, and credit cards with a 3% surcharge.

Several supermarkets do home deliveries to Springhill. Please mention it is for the bunkhouse.
